French May 2022

First held in 1993, the French May Festival is one of the largest cultural events in Asia. Every year from May to June, the French May Festival holds more than 100 cultural events in two months, attracting more than 200,000 people every year. In Hong Kong, where the cultural and artistic development is booming, the French May Festival has become a major annual event. The goal of the French May Festival is to be all-inclusive, omnipresent and popular with everyone.

 

The French May is all-encompassing, showcasing the most diverse art categories, from traditional to contemporary art, from painting to design, from classical music to contemporary dance, from film to puppetry, collecting the best works for the audience.
